Palissade est une collection de mobilier d'extérieur dessinée par Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec pour la marque Hay. La série est composée d'une large gamme de mobilier, dans laquelle toutes les pièces partagent le même principe de conception. Elle comprend des chaises, petits fauteuils, fauteuils lounge, tabourets, tables et bancs. Spécialement conçues pour un usage extérieur, ces pièces sont visuellement légères mais robustes dans leur réalisation. Inspirée par des meubles classiques, la collection trouve son originalité dans les détails. Bien que conçus en acier, ces meubles outdoor sont confortables simplement grâce à leur design. Chaque pièce est disponible en vert olive, gris clair ou anthracite et s'intègre très bien dans un environnement naturel ou urbain. Avec Palissade, les frères Bouroullec ont imaginé une collection de mobilier outdoor durable qui s'associe facilement à tous les styles : un futur Classique du design !

Ronan & Erwan BOUROULLEC

Born in 1971 and 1976 in Quimper, France, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec pursued their studies at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the École nationale supérieure d’arts in Cergy-Pontoise, respectively. In 1999, the brothers teamed up to establish a design studio in Paris. Their work spans the creation of home accessories and objects (vases, tableware, jewelry…), furniture for the home and office, as well as architectural projects that involve spatial planning and design. Among their standout creations, the "l'Algue" for Vitra, is a modular design that, when assembled, forms an asymmetrical and poetic room divider. Alongside designers like Jasper Morrison and Hella Jongerius, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec play a key role in the growing Vitra Home Collection. In recent years, they have also collaborated with brands like Alessi, Kartell and Nanimarquina designing pieces such as the Losanges rugs. Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec have earned numerous accolades, including Designer of the Year at Maison et Objet Now! in 2011, the Grand Prix du Design from the City of Paris in 1998, the New Designer Award at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York in 1999, and the Finn-Juhl Prize in Copenhagen in 2008. Their works are housed in prestigious museums, including the MoMA and the Centre Pompidou. Through their collaborations with brands like Vitra, Hay annd Flos, Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec have become icons of 21st-century design.

HAY

Hay was founded in 2002 to promote Danish design. Rather than sticking closely to the style of the country's former masters of design, Hay reinvents their work in a more contemporary context. The brand revisits the classical forms of Nordic design in a more contemporary context. Hay boasts user-friendly, aesthetic and functional designs. It draws from three main sources of inspiration: art, architecture and fashion. The producer pays particular attention to its environment and is inspired by contemporary culture.
